When people buy a used car, they can check its history before making a decision. Fairenting was created around a similar idea for renting: renters should be able to learn more about the history of a landlord or property manager before deciding where to live.

But checking a landlord's history is only the beginning.

Fairenting is being built to follow and support tenants through the entire rental process — from searching a landlord or property manager's history, to applying for a property, reviewing and signing a lease, moving in, living in the rental, communicating and documenting what happens along the way, and eventually moving out.
